I’ve been alarmed but excited about the protests in Iran.  The demonstrators show such courage in the face of extreme danger.  I made this image as an

expression of my admiration for them all.  I saw the protesters carrying red flowers at several sites and so I wanted to use that symbol of the thorny flower against

power and oppression.  I wish them well.  Yes for change and freedom.
